The Sphere, and how it differs from your pipeline

Cultivate works active buyers in your pipeline. The Sphere works the long game: past clients, friends, family, and referral partners who are not in-market today but will be one day.

The Sphere, listed as your golden list.

Where it lives

Click Sphere in the sidebar. The page it opens is titled Nurture and its address is /nurture. Both names refer to the same thing, so do not go looking for a second area.

Two different record types

Leads

Active buyers. They live in your pipeline, carry a 0 to 100 temperature score, and can be worked with Cultivate.

Sphere people

Everyone else in your book. They live under Nurture, carry a warmth score instead of a temperature score, and get lighter, long-horizon touches. They are not leads and they do not appear in your pipeline.

A person can become a lead. Open their record and use Promote to lead. That creates a linked lead in your pipeline and keeps the relationship history attached. The two records then coexist: the person stays in your Sphere and the lead appears in your pipeline.

What the top of the page tells you

  • People: everyone in your Sphere.
  • VIPs: people you tagged as the VIP tier.
  • Due for a touch: people whose next scheduled touch date has arrived.
  • Warming up: people whose warmth score is 70 or higher.

Promoting a person to a lead does not by itself create consent to email or text them. See sphere email and the law for which touches can actually send.
