The setup wizard: getting live
The setup wizard walks you through provisioning in order and remembers where you stopped. Some steps are required to finish, most are not.
Progress is derived from your real account state, not from clicking Next. Leave halfway through and you come back to the first step still outstanding.
The steps
- Welcome. Tell REHL whether you are a solo agent or a brokerage. Required, and it branches everything after it.
- Your details. Your name and a mobile number. Required. The mobile is used on your MLS request and for account security, so it needs at least ten digits.
- Your business (or Name your brokerage). Required. Your display name, the identity on the emails you send, and your mailing address.
- License and brokerage of record. Optional. Confirm your license and connect the firm you hang it with.
- Brand your site. Optional. Claim your web address, set your color, add your logo.
- Connect your MLS. Optional. Send the request now so it approves while you finish the rest.
- Build your sphere. Optional. Import your leads and your past clients.
- Send your first email. Optional. The activation moment, described below.
- Invite your team. Brokerages only. A solo agent never sees this step.
- Start your plan. Required. Pick a plan to go live.
The address step is the strict one
The business step will not accept a mailing address that is not a real street address. CAN-SPAM requires a physical address in the footer of every marketing email, and REHL's send gate refuses to mail without a usable one. So the wizard runs exactly the same check the gate runs, and blocks the save rather than letting you finish setup and then wonder why nothing sends. A city and a ZIP are not enough. A PO box is fine.
Send your first email
After the import, REHL shows you five people from your own book and why each one is worth writing to first. The reasons are facts from your own upload, never an invented score: you marked them VIP, they closed with you and REHL can name the year, a home anniversary or birthday is coming up in the next month, or you left a note about them. Your own VIP mark outranks everything REHL worked out.
You then write one real email and send it. It goes out under your name, through the same compliance checks every other send passes. The step only counts as done once an email actually went out, not because you opened the screen. Anyone with no email address is left out of the five and counted separately, because email is the only channel this lane sends on.
Optional steps never block Done. That includes the first-email step, because the import it depends on is itself optional, and a required step you cannot satisfy is a dead end.
Who can open the wizard?
Brokerage admins, including a solo agent running their own brokerage of one. Viewers and REHL staff accounts cannot.
My site says it is not live even though setup is complete.
Setup being complete and your branded site being provisioned are two separate things. The Done step only calls you live when both are true, and links to the real address only once the web address has actually been provisioned.
