Mailing printed postcards

Yes, when your brokerage has the channel switched on. One card from a contact's record, or one design to a whole segment as a campaign. Every card counts as a real touch. Postcards are billed in prepaid packs: $1.49 each in packs of 10, $1.29 each in packs of 100.

Printed mail cannot be recalled, so the channel is off until REHL deliberately arms it for you. Until then the page explains itself and no card can be created. If you want it on, contact support.

What a postcard costs

Postcards are billed in prepaid packs: 10 postcards for $14.90 ($1.49 each) or 100 for $129 ($1.29 each). Each card you mail uses one postcard from your balance, and prepaid postcards do not expire. A card that could not be mailed (a bad address, an opt-out, or the print vendor refusing it) gives its postcard back.

Sending a campaign

  1. Open Postcards and pick a design and your message.
  2. Choose the Sphere segment you want to mail.
  3. Press Preview. REHL shows who would be mailed, who would be skipped and why, and how many prepaid postcards it uses against your balance. If the campaign would go over your brokerage's monthly mailing limit, the preview says so.
  4. Confirm. The confirm button stays disabled until a fresh preview is on screen.

What gets skipped, and what gets refused

  • Anyone on your postal do-not-mail list is skipped and reported. They get no card.
  • Anyone with no mailable address is skipped and reported, never mailed to nowhere.
  • If you do not have a prepaid postcard for every card in the campaign, the WHOLE campaign is refused rather than half-sent, with the number it needs and your balance shown. Buy a postcard pack, or narrow the segment.
  • If the campaign would go over your brokerage's monthly mailing limit, the WHOLE campaign is refused rather than half-sent. Narrow the segment or wait for next month.

Cards are not printed the instant you confirm. Confirming reserves the spend and queues each piece; a background job then verifies each address and hands it to the print vendor one at a time. Retrying a submit returns the same campaign rather than mailing anybody twice.

How do I mail just one person?

From that contact's own record, not from this page. This page is for batches, plus the brokerage-wide view of whether the channel is on, this month's spend, and the do-not-mail list.
