Feed health: is my MLS feed working?

Feed health exists so a data problem reaches you before a buyer reports a missing listing. It shows one card per MLS feed with a healthy, warning, or critical status and the reasons behind it.

What it checks

  • Staleness: how long since the last successful sync, for any feed that is enabled and not paused. Every such feed is measured against the same fixed window today, warning after 4 hours with no successful sync and critical after 24, whatever that feed's own sync cadence is. A feed that has never synced is critical, unless it is paused or disabled, which skips the staleness check entirely, since it is not supposed to be syncing. A paused or disabled feed can still show a warning or critical status from one of the checks below.
  • A failed run: if the most recent sync did not finish cleanly, ok or partial, the status goes critical. That covers a run that errored outright and one that was killed and swept up as abandoned; either way the error rides along, including whether the MLS rate-limited you.
  • Re-key churn: a sudden spike in listings going withdrawn, which is what an MLS re-keying its records looks like from the outside.
  • A drop in your own active listings against your recent normal, which is the shape of listings quietly vanishing.
  • Data quality: listings that came through with no photos, and rows the importer had to skip.
  • Office spread, on an office-scoped back-office (BBO) feed only: a warning when the feed's listings span more than 50 distinct offices, the signature of an unscoped BBO feed pulling the whole MLS instead of one brokerage. A market-wide IDX feed is designed to cover many offices and never triggers this.

There is no per-feed staleness window yet. A brokerage on a slow, nightly-style feed is measured against the same 4h/24h thresholds as one on the standard cadence, so it can show a warning between its own normal syncs.

If the page says no feed is connected, that is the honest answer: your brokerage has no MLS feed configured at all yet. A configured feed shows its own card here even before it is live, whether it is an IDX feed, an office-scoped BBO feed, or one that is currently disabled or paused.

My listings are missing. Should I look here first?

Yes. Feed health tells you whether the problem is the feed or something else. If the feed is green and recent, the cause is elsewhere.

Who can see this?

An Admin seat, and only your own brokerage's feeds.
