Compass: your GCI goal and your pace

Compass is the accountability side of REHL. Set a yearly commission goal, then see closed business against it, what your open deals are worth, and whether your daily numbers add up to the goal.

Open Compass from the Growth section of the sidebar. The first screen is the leaderboard: every active agent for the year you pick, sorted by closed commission, with their goal beside it. Click a name to open that person's scorecard.

Set a goal

  1. Open Compass, then click an agent to open their scorecard.
  2. Click Set goal (or Edit goal if one exists).
  3. Enter the yearly commission goal in dollars. Units and listings are optional.
  4. Optionally enter daily habit targets: calls per day, conversations per day, appointments per week.
  5. Save. One goal is stored per agent, per year.

What the numbers mean

  • Closed this year: commission on your transactions with a status of closed and a close date inside the year. REHL uses the commission amount on the transaction, or the contract price times the commission rate when no amount was recorded.
  • On pace: your closed commission against the share of the year that has already gone by. 100 percent means you are exactly on schedule.
  • Pipeline forecast: your open deals, each weighted by how likely that stage is to close. Under contract counts for more than a draft.
  • Projected year end: closed so far plus the weighted forecast.

The forecast leaves out the sample deal REHL seeds in a new trial account. A practice transaction carries a price and a rate, so without that exclusion it would show up as money you were about to make.

The daily habit numbers

If you set calls, conversations, or appointment targets, the scorecard pairs each one with what you actually did over the last 28 days and shows the gap. Those actuals are counted from the work you log on leads, not from anything you type into Compass, so they stay true whether or not you keep a tracker.

  • Calls: every dial you log, answered or not. A voicemail was still a dial.
  • Conversations: an outbound call you marked as reached, any inbound call, or a meeting. Email and text do not count here.
  • Appointments: a meeting or a showing.

Per-day targets are compared against 20 working days in the 28-day window, not 28 calendar days, because agents state goals in working days.

I am a solo agent. Is Compass for brokerages only?

No. A solo account is a brokerage of one and you are its admin, so Compass works the same way. Your leaderboard is a list of one, and the scorecard is yours.

Why does an agent on my team get an error on Compass?

Compass reads whole-brokerage numbers, so it needs an Admin seat. A teammate on the Agent or Viewer seat can open the page from the sidebar but the data will not load. Change their seat on the Team page if they should see it.

Where does closed commission come from?

Transactions, not leads. A deal only counts once its status is closed and it has an actual close date in the year you are looking at.
