Post your own designs

Made something in Canva, or had a designer build you a card? Upload it to REHL Studio and it joins the same posting rotation the built-in templates use.

Uploading one

  1. Open REHL Studio in the left nav and pick the Designs tab.
  2. In Your designs, choose a PNG or JPEG up to 8 MB and give it a name. Square, 4:5, and 9:16 work best for social.
  3. Pick a listing first if the design is for one property. Leave the selector on all listings and the design is available to every listing instead.

A plan day set to Your design rotates through your uploads, through the same queue, the same approval gate, and the same publisher as everything else Studio posts. There is no second posting system to learn.

The photo screen, and why a design can be held

Every upload passes the same Fair Housing photo screen a listing photo passes before REHL may choose it: does this image show identifiable people? A design the screen holds never enters the rotation, and Post this now refuses it. That is the right answer for a photo a machine picked, because a picture of people in marketing can read as a statement about who a home is for.

If the people in it are your own team

The screen cannot tell your own headshot from a stranger's face, so you tell it. On a held design there is a box to tick, and it reads exactly this:

The people shown in this design are me or my team, and I have their permission to use this image in marketing.

Ticking it admits that design to the rotation. It does not erase the screen's answer: the record still says the design shows people, and it now also says who confirmed it, and when. Any seat that can edit marketing can tick it, which on a default Agent seat means you can.

Can I take it back?

Yes. Untick the box and the design drops straight back out of the rotation. Anything already queued for it that is still waiting for approval or scheduled is canceled with it, so a withdrawal is not a withdrawal in name only. Posts that already went out are not affected.

My design is held and there are no people in it.

A held answer is final for that file, and there is no way to ask for a second opinion on it: Try the screen again only appears when the screen errored or got stuck, and a re-screen on a held design is refused. Your options are to tick the box if the people it found are in fact you or your team, to export the design again and upload the new file (fresh bytes get a fresh screen), or to share it yourself from the listing's Share tab.

The screen errored, or it has been pending for a long time.

That is what Try the screen again on the design's row is for. It gives up after a number of attempts and asks you to re-upload a fresh export rather than looping.

Can I post a held design at all?

By hand, yes. Share it yourself from the listing's Share tab. The screen governs what REHL chooses on your behalf, not what you choose to send.

A design you cannot delete is usually one an unpublished post still carries. Cancel or publish that post first.
