A signature has stalled. What now?

First, read the timeline

The timeline says whether the email was delivered, whether they opened the document, and whether anyone has signed. If the hub is showing a delivery warning on that document, the email never reached them and no amount of waiting will help.

They have it but have not got to it

Use Remind. It re-sends the signing link to everyone who still owes a signature and records the reminder on the timeline. REHL will not send a reminder to an address on your opt-out list, and it will not remind on a document that is already signed, cancelled, expired, or declined.

You sent it to the wrong address

Fix the signer instead of rebuilding the document. Open the timeline, correct that person's email address or name, and REHL issues them a new link, kills the old one immediately, and emails the corrected address. Signatures already collected from other people are untouched. You can only do this for someone who has not signed yet. Once a person has signed, their identity is part of the record and REHL will not rewrite it.

They are sitting in front of you

Start an in-person signing session and hand them your device. The document records that it was signed in person, who hosted the session, and that the device details belong to you rather than to them. That disclosure is permanent and is printed on the audit trail.

The deal changed

Cancel the document and send a fresh one. Everyone still waiting is told it was cancelled, and the cancelled document stays on file. Cancel is also the right move when a signer tells you they will not sign, though a signer can decline it themselves and REHL will record who declined, when, and why.
